Photon Energy announces the acquisition of two project companies for 2 x 999 KWp photovoltaic plants in Slovakia

The Management Board of Photon Energy a.s. on 23 February 2011 announces that on 22 February 2011 the company signed agreements with ML Energy a.s. to acquire 100% equity interests in the Slovak project companies Eco Plan 2 s. r. o. and Eco Plan 3 s.r.o., which are holding all project rights for two adjacent 999 KWp photovoltaic power plants located in the municipality of Mokrá Lúka near Revúca in eastern Slovakia. The total acquisition price for both companies was CZK 17.54 million (EUR 716,000 or PLN 2.84 million).
Photon Energy a.s. will immediately initiate the construction process. The planned completion date is the end of April 2011 with grid connection and final building approval in time before the end of June 2011 when the feed-in-tariff for greenfield photovoltaic power plants in Slovakia will be discontinued.
Photon Energy a.s. and its board members are unrelated to the principals of ML Energy a.s.
