The management board of Photon Energy a.s. announces that today the 911 KWp photovoltaic power plant has received final statutory building approval and was handed over to the investor HEREDAD s.r.o. The contract details were published in Current report 3/2009. Trial operations commenced on 10 July 2009 since when the plant has been generating electricity. The plant was originally designed for 898.56 KWp but the use of higher-rated monocrystalline panels led to a higher final installed capacity of 911 KWp. “The completion of the PV power plant in Milčice is a major milestone for our company as our subsidiary Photon Engineering completed its first major project where it acted as the turnkey general contractor" noted Michal Gärtner, CEO of Photon Energy. “We have built a state-of-the-art high performance PV power plant and first results during the trial period convince us that our client will have every reason to be pleased with its technical performance and the resulting financial returns" added Jiří Mazanek, Head of Engineering of Photon Engineering.
